Larry Holmes founded Holmes & Associates, CPAs in 1986. After having tenure at Ernst and Young, LLP (International CPA Firm), he recognized he wanted to come home to Long Beach and help the small businessman succeed in a world of large and expanding corporations.

Clara brings a wealth of experience to Holmes and Associates, CPAs, having serviced Toyota Motors North America, Inc. for 32+ years in the Company’s Corporate Accounting Department as Director, Tax Planning and Audits.

Lluvia Monarrez

Lluvia is the General Manager at Holmes & Associates, CPAs. She is in continuous communication with our clients and partners with them daily in helping their business become financially sound and successful. Lluvia has over 17 years of accounting experience.

Audrey Quach

Audrey started working for Holmes and Associates, CPAs in 2017 as an accountant and is now a Certified Public Accountant. Previously, she had worked in both public and private accounting for years.

Joseph Sidhom

Joseph Sidhom joined Holmes & Associates, CPA in 2019 as a staff accountant. His goal as an accountant is to work with clients to help them understand their financial standing and assist them in any way possible.

Jason HOlmes

Jason joined the Firm of Holmes & Associates, CPAs in 2013 after graduating from College. He shares his family passion to serve the city of Long Beach and surrounding communities. As Public Relations Director, he has helped many business owners understand the value the Firm can deliver.

Carlos Ortega

Carlos Ortega joined Holmes & Associates in July 2015. He began working with the marketing team setting appointments with prospective clients and has since transitioned into the administrative team as the client service support I/C. Carlos is currently studying to be an Enrolled Agent in the eyes of the IRS in order to further his knowledge and better service our clients. He will begin taking the EA exams by December 2019 and finished by April 2020.


Alexander Brown

Alexander Brown is one of our staff accountants here at Holmes & Associates, CPAs and he joined the Firm in 2019. Alexander is currently pursuing the CPA exam and plans to finish in 2020. He wants to use his license to further his career in tax and accounting.  He is looking forward to the journey and wants to advance his skills to make his goals for helping businesses succeed a reality.

JC Romero

JC Romero started working for Holmes & Associates in 2018. He works with Service Support and obtains important client documents for Accountants to do their jobs. He is currently finishing his studies at CSULB in Accounting. He plans to pass all 4 parts of the CPA exam by December 2020, and apply for the MBA program after.

Sheri Rutherford

Sheri is our Billing Administrator with a demonstrated history of working in the accounting industry. With over twenty years of administrative experience, Sheri has worked for multiple tax and accounting firms in Orange County and in various rolls, including executive assistant and administrator/office manager prior to joining our firm.



Ali Meza

Ali has been with Holmes & Associates since 2017 as our Administrative Assistant. She is the friendly voice that will most likely greet you when you call the Firm! She supports all of the Firm’s staff and assists H&A’s General Manager on timely delivery of projects and administration of facility needs that help keep the Office operating efficiently.
